HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- A high school football player who was airlifted off the field during a football game is recovering from his injuries.
According to South Spencer Athletics, JaQuar Johnson is currently stable, resting and has feeling and movement to all extremities. Officials say initial diagnostic imaging, including CT scan and MRI results, have come back negative for major injury.
Johnson was injured during a game at North Central High School in Farmersburg. According to officials in Farmersburg, the game was called late into the 3rd quarter due to the severity of Johnson's injuries.
