PUNTA GORDA, Fla. (WWSB) - Authorities are searching for a man wanted for an alleged shooting Friday night at Luther Apartments in Punta Gorda.

According to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect, identified as Michael Williams, 33, of Punta Gorda, allegedly shot another person after an argument at the apartment complex and then fled the scene before deputies arrived.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries, deputies say.
