Former President Joe Biden will begin radiation therapy and hormone treatment for prostate cancer, according to a statement from his spokesperson.
He was diagnosed with an "aggressive" form of prostate cancer in May at the age of 82.
"As part of a treatment plan for prostate cancer, President Biden is currently undergoing radiation therapy and hormone treatment," a spokesperson told Delaware Online/The News Journal on Oct. 11.
More than 300,000 new cases of prostate cancer have been diagnosed in men in 2025, according to numbers from the American Cancer Society, with more than 35,000 deaths recorded.
