Argentine singer Fede Dorcaz has died at age 29.

According to TMZ , Dorcaz was slated to appear on the upcoming installment of the Mexican dance competition show “Las Estrellas Bailan En Hoy,” which translates to “The Stars Dance Today.” And after leaving dance rehearsals in Mexico City on Thursday night to drive home, he was reportedly attacked during an attempted robbery.

The Secretariat of Citizen Security of Mexico City said Dorcaz was shot in the neck while trying to exit a road. He died instantly at the scene.

No arrests have been made yet, but authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage , which shows four male suspects fleeing the scene on motorcycles.
