A survivor of the Nova festival massacre who shielded his girlfriend during the attacks has died two years after the tragedy.
Roei Shalev was found dead just days after the second anniversary of the murder of his girlfriend by Hamas terrorists at the music festival on October 7, 2023.
Shalev, 29, was dancing with his partner, Mapal Adam, 26, when Hamas rockets suddenly interrupted the festivities.
As the pair were driving away from the festival in a bid to escape the attack, they encountered a woman lying on the floor covered in blood.
They were then forced to take cover under vehicles as gunmen opened fire.
Shalev attempted to shield his girlfriend from the bullets raining down on them but Mapal was shot in the back and died right beneath him.
