BRAINERD — Relationship Safety Alliance will host its annual candlelight vigil at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, at Lyman P. White Park in Brainerd.

This community memorial event is held each year during Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention Month to honor the lives lost to domestic violence in the past year and to stand in solidarity with survivors.

This year’s vigil will also highlight findings from Violence Free Minnesota’s newly released 2024 Homicide Report: Relationship Abuse in Minnesota. The report documents at least 24 known victims of intimate partner- and domestic violence-related homicide in 2024, along with three suspicious deaths.
