A function hall in Mancherial, previously sealed for violating building norms, is now set to be inaugurated amid allegations of political backing.

Mancherial: A function hall that was once sealed by the Mancherial Municipal Corporation for violating building norms is now set to be inaugurated, allegedly with the support of local MLA K Premsagar Rao .

The multi-storied hall, constructed on the banks of Rallavagu in Green City Colony, had earlier been seized by officials for being built under permission granted for a residential structure. The civic body had pasted a notice and sealed the premises under Section 181 of the Telangana Municipal Act, 2019.

Subsequently, the owners approached the Telangana High Court, which ordered the removal of the seal. They claimed that the court
