A father and daughter were arrested for allegedly assaulting law enforcement officers outside Farrington High School Friday night, according to Honolulu police.
“At about 9:29 p.m., District 5 officers responded to a large altercation fronting Farrington High School,” a Honolulu Police Department statement said. “While attempting to break up the fight, an 18-year-old female struck an officer in the face, and a 38-year-old male kicked an officer in the groin.”
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services personnel treated both officers who later took themselves to Kuakini Hospital for further treatment.
The suspects were arrested for first-degree assault of a law enforcement officer, police said.
