Authorities have confirmed that no one has been found alive after a massive explosion at a military explosives plant in rural Tennessee on Friday morning, with at least 18 people feared dead. Recovery efforts are ongoing, but officials say they are no longer operating under rescue assumptions. “We’re moving to recovery,” said Humphreys county sheriff Chris Davis, speaking emotionally at a press briefing on Saturday. “At this time, we have recovered no survivors.” The site of the explosion, accurate energetic systems (AES), is located in McEwen, about 60 miles southwest of Nashville.
