Colorado State men’s basketball’s final run through the Mountain West Conference will begin Dec. 20 at Utah State.
The Mountain West announced its conference schedule earlier this week and the Rams, under first-year head coach Ali Farokhmanesh, will open league play in Logan, Utah, with their Mountain West home opener 10 days later on Dec. 30 at Moby Arena against Nevada.
CSU’s first and only Mountain West trip to new member Grand Canyon will take place Jan. 3 in Phoenix. With the addition of the Thunder, the league schedule is unbalanced this season, and the Rams will only play Grand Canyon once. The home game against Nevada is also the only time the Rams will face the Wolfpack. The teams will not play a game in Reno.
