Are you ready for Thanksgiving?

This year, the holiday falls on Monday, Oct. 13, and it’s a time for family gatherings, nature walks, turkey and pumpkin pie.

While most stores will be closed for the holiday, you can still see a movie, go bowling or visit a fall fair.

Here’s a look at what’s open and closed on Thanksgiving Monday in the Hamilton area.

WHAT’S OPEN?

You can catch a flick at major movie theatres like Cineplex Cinemas Hamilton Mountain and Ancaster, as well as Landmark Cinemas 6 at Jackson Square. (Jackson Square mall stores are closed on Thanksgiving.)

Corner stores remain open on Thanksgiving Monday.

Most cannabis stores are open on Monday.

Wine Rack standalone stores not located inside supermarkets are open on Thanksgiving Monday.
