The now-closed Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster caught fire on Friday morning at Universal Studios Florida.
Orlando sister station WESH was on the scene when crews were working to suppress the fire.
The Orlando Fire Department confirmed firefighters were "working a small active fire on the tracks of a closed coaster."
The ride permanently closed in August to make way for a new experience.
It's unclear why or how the fire started.
