SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) - A Northwestern football game has been delayed after their team bus crashed.
Saturday morning, while on the way to a football game at Briar Cliff, one of their team buses was involved in a "single-vehicle accident", according to a release from Northwestern College Athletics.
Some members of the team sustained minor injuries, and are receiving medical care.
After discussions with GPAC Commissioner Westra of Briar Cliff, Northwestern College administration and medical staff, Saturday's kickoff has been moved to 5:00 p.m.
"Our primary concern at this time is the health and well-being of our student-athletes, staff, and all those involved. We ask for your continued thoughts and prayers for everyone affected," Northwestern wrote in their release.
