Sean Dyche has emerged as Evangelos Marinakis’s first choice option to replace Ange Postecoglou as Nottingham Forest manager.
Postecoglou was brought into replace Nuno Espirito Santo after the Portuguese coach was dismissed just three games into the new season having led the club back into Europe last term.
The Australian, who parted ways with Tottenham after winning the Europa League in May, is still to win any of his seven games since arriving at the City Ground.
After their seventh place finish last season, Forest have slumped to 17th and are just one place above the relegation zone having not won since the opening day of the new season.
