Ward tastawiyiniwak has four candidates seeking to unseat incumbent Karen Principe who is seeking re-election for a second term in the north Edmonton ward with 86,000 residents.
The ward is bounded by Anthony Henday Drive to the north, 66 Street to the east, 127 Street to the south, with its western boundaries set at 97 Street in its lower half, and Castle Down Roads above 153 Avenue.
In the 2021 election, Principe defeated one-term incumbent Jon Dziadyk in a nearly 1,500-vote victory.
