Lostprophets' paedophile Ian Watkins chillingly foretold his own demise after being imprisoned for appalling sex offences.

The disgraced former musician was knifed to death in jail on Friday whilst serving a 35-year sentence for his crimes.

Reports have disclosed he was stabbed in the neck by a fellow prisoner in an assault that was branded "pre-planned", "shocking", and "gruesome".

Watkins had previously survived a knife attack in August 2023 in which he had been severely injured - and he had earlier prophesied he would face violence.

In 2019, he faced trial for covertly possessing a mobile phone behind bars - and received an extended sentence when convicted of violating this regulation.
