Srinagar, Oct 11: Veteran Bollywood actor Raza Murad, who recently visited Kashmir, described the Valley as more beautiful than Switzerland, praising its breathtaking landscapes and growing appeal among filmmakers once again.

“I honestly don’t understand why people run to Switzerland. Our Kashmir is far more beautiful—whether it’s the lakes, the mountains, or the snow,” he said in an exclusive interview with Rising Kashmir . “In the 1990s, unrest had forced film producers to stop shooting here, and we had to recreate Srinagar in places like Kullu and Manali. But now, the situation has improved, and filmmakers once again love to shoot in Kashmir.”
