An endless plethora of thought pieces can be produced about Mike Flanagan ’s works. His horror-leaning career since Oculus has left a lasting mark on both casual viewers and the slowly-growing avid fans of the Netflix Flanaverse – and upcoming additions from other streamers . Whereas it’s difficult to single out the best of his oeuvres, I’d dare say The Haunting of Hill House is the epitome of his career, at least up to now.
