Classic cars cruised downtown San Bernardino on Saturday, Oct. 11, in a throwback to Route 66’s heyday.

“San Bernardino’s bond with Route 66 runs deep,” organizers wrote on the event’s website. “When the Mother Road was fully paved in 1938, Fifth Street became the city’s Main Street of America, transforming San Bernardino into a crucial oasis for Dust Bowl migrants and eager vacationers alike.”
