A new fall tradition got its start Saturday, Oct. 11, in Jurupa Valley.

The city’s inaugural Harvest Parade brought residents out to watch floats, high school marching bands and equestrian groups make their way down Limonite Avenue.
The route went from Beach Street to Jurupa Valley City Hall, where a festival with carnival games, face painting and other activities was held to continue the celebration.
Also taking part in the parade were youth sports teams, dance troupes, car clubs and members of local organizations.
