A PERSON has died during the early hours of the morning, after the car they were driving rolled on a rural road in the Central West.
Emergency services were called at about 2am on Sunday, October 12, following reports of a single-vehicle accident near Tarana - about 40 kilometres southeast of Bathurst.
Officers attached to the Chifley Police District, as well as NSW Ambulance paramedics, attended the scene on Curly Dick Road, where they arrived to find a car had left the road and overturned.
NSW paramedics treated the driver of the car at the scene, a man believed to be in his 50s, but despite their best efforts were unable to revive him.
The man is yet to be formally identified.
Police have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash and a report will be prepared
