ELMIRA HEIGHTS, N.Y. (WENY) — Saturday was the 14th annual Oktoberfest Street Festival in Elmira Heights. For much of the day, East 14th Street in the village was shut down for vendors, music, and more.

The annual event drew in a large crowd of people, families, and even their pets. Two local music groups, East Hill Jazz Trio and Bad Bear, performed throughout the day.

The day also included face painting for the kids and a car show for people to show off their vintage vehicles. Village officials said the day was fantastic and they were grateful for the nice weather.
