GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - The Florida volleyball team defeated No. 25 Missouri in four sets (25-23, 22-25, 25-23, 28-26) inside the Stephen C. O’Connell Center Friday night.

It was the Gators’ (8-6, 3-2 SEC) third win against a ranked opponent this season.

In the first set, Florida jumped out to an early 3-0 lead before the Tigers (9-7, 1-4 SEC) tied the score at four.

The set continued to be back and forth.

Aniya Madkins’ kill, assisted by Alexis Stucky, lifted the Gators to a 25-23 set win.

Mizzou bounced back in the second set, getting out to a 4-0 lead and holding onto it, winning the second set 25-22 despite a valiant comeback effort by UF.
