ESOPUS, N.Y. — Brooke Huleatt scored six goals and Shannon Clement and Nina Wright had two each as Mount Academy’s girls soccer team remained unbeaten with a 10-0 Mid-Hudson Athletic League (MHAL) victory over visiting Saugerties on Friday, Oct. 10.

The Mount (13-0) got three assists each from Clement and Wright, two assists from Huleatt and one from Deanna Wiser.

Mount goalies Kate Moody (five saves) and Cassie Barth (one) kept a clean sheet.

Saugerties, which dropped to 6-8, got 16 saves from keeper Isabella Cuneo.

Wallkill 3, New Paltz 1

At Wallkill, Liz Warren and Haylee Presto each had a goal and an assist to lead the host Panthers. Ella Russell scored the other goal for the winners.

Maki Pine on an assist from Emerson MacDonald scored the visiting Huguenots’ lone goal.
