CicLAvia to Close Streets to Motorized Traffic Around Downtown LA

The CicLAvia street festival returns to Los Angeles Sunday, with 7.15 miles of streets in the downtown area closed to motorized vehicle traffic.

“CicLAvia — Heart of LA” will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, and will stretch from Mariachi Plaza west past Little Tokyo to MacArthur Park, and north to Chinatown.

No vehicles, electric scooters, electric skateboards, hoverboards, electric unicycles, motorcycles, or other non-people-powered vehicles will be allowed.

The following streets will be closed, with some possible closing as early as 6 a.m. Sunday:

— Seventh Street, from S. Park View to Broadway;

— Broadway, from Seventh to Bernard Street;

— First Street, from Broadway to Alameda;

— S. Central Avenue, from First to Sixth Street;

— Sixth, from S. Central Avenue to Whittier
