COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The South Carolina Gamecocks are hoping for revenge against the LSU Tigers at Death Valley.

South Carolina hopes to change the course of their season with a signature win against the Tigers. The Gamecocks lost last season after leading 17-0 at one point in the game . A lack of consistency and controversial calls from the referees helped LSU escape Williams-Brice with a win.

In last year’s loss, South Carolina’s offense struggled in the second half. An injury to LaNorris Sellers forced Robby Ashford to finish the game.

With a chance to tie the game, Alex Herrera missed a field goal, keeping the score at 36-33 for the final.

The Gamecocks come into this matchup after a dominant performance against the new-look Kentucky Wildcats before a bye week.
