MINOT — There wasn't a whole lot of passing happening at Herb Parker Stadium on Saturday.

There was a lot of scoring — just not enough for the Jimmies.

The University of Jamestown football team fell 35-28 to Minot State University on Oct. 11. UJ's loss puts the team at 1-5 for the season. Head coach Brian Mistro and his team will be back in action on Oct 25 at Bemidji State.

Minot State struck first in Saturday's affair with an eight yard run by Evan Lovett but just four minutes later, the score was tied thanks to a 3 yard run by Zach Hammett.

MSU scored one more time before the opening quarter ended on an 11 yard run by signal caller Carson Chrisman.
