HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Authorities say a man has been transported to the hospital after a shooting in the eastern part of Harris County Saturday.

The shooting happened in the 12700 block of Woodforest Blvd.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to the scene and found a man, possibly in his 30s, with a gunshot wound.

He was transported to a hospital and is said to be in critical condition.

Other details are limited at this time.

Detectives are on their way to the scene.
