Argentinian singer Fede Dorcaz has died. He was 29. Mexican broadcaster Hoy announced the news of his passing on social media. "We join the pain that bears his entire family, his parents and his girlfriend, Mariana Ávila," it read. "Fede leaves a big void in our team. His memory and passion will continue to inspire us forever. Rest in Peace Fede Dorcaz," Dorcaz signed up for the new season of Las Strellas Bailan, the Mexican version of Dancing With the Stars, just days before he died. Multiple local reports claimed that Dorcaz was shot dead while driving in Mexico City on the way home from dance rehearsals. The outlets reported that authorities believe he was involved in an attempted robbery. An investigation is currently ongoing. Hours later, Ávila broke her silence on her partner's death. "I love you with all my heart, like I tell you every day," she wrote in the comments section of Dorcaz's last Instagram post. "Baby boy, come back, please. I don't want to spend another day without you." Dorcaz was a rising star in the Latin pop industry, performing 10 sold-out concerts in Mexico last year and releasing hits such as No Eres Tú and Cara Bonita. The musician's debut album, Instinto, dropped earlier this year.
