COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - No. 5 Texas A&M moved to 6-0 with a 34-17 win over Florida Saturday in Kyle Field, tying 2016 squad the best start for an Aggie season this century.

Why did A&M win? The Aggie defense stepped up again to hold a talented Florida offense at bay. It closed out a game that started as fireworks for the Aggie offense.

After Florida methodically drove down the field for a score on its first drive of the game, the Aggies needed just two plays to return volley. Quarterback Marcel Reed, who has struggled this season with the deep pass, connected with wide receiver Mario Craver for a 67-yard passing play that set up an 8-yard touchdown rush by Reed.
