LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Fusion Five invited businesses out so members and non-members could improve their resumes, meet with HR representatives, and talk about what they want to do in their careers.

“The goal we were trying to get out of this event was networking, development for business, as well as brand exposure. Just coming out and you know trying to get a future job, or you know cleaning up your resumes, and things like that. We have some amazing businesses here,” said former Fusion Five board member Jamal Bell.

Some of the businesses in attendance included Servpro, Goodwill, Argent, Acadian and Northwestern.

Bell says the group holds the event because they understand the challenge of finding a job after college.
