LEESVILLE, La. (KALB) - On Saturday, October 11, Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office reported a search for Blake Holland, 24, an inmate at Phelps Correctional Facility in Dequincy.

VPSO said Holland was on work release and was employed at a car dealership in Leesville. They said he walked away from the site Saturday afternoon and was reportedly picked up and driven away from the area.

VPSO said Holland had been in jail for charges related to drugs and property damage. VPSO asked anyone with information to contact them at (337) 238-1311.
