DALLAS, Pa. — Paws for Patriots was hosted by Rescue Pets Serving Vets and "B and Let Live Project" on Saturday in Luzerne County . Sporting Dog Supply in Dallas held the adoption event to continue Casey Shonis' legacy.

Shonis was diagnosed with ALS, but organizers say that hasn't stopped her mission of getting these pups adopted.

Shonis's goal is to see three thousand dogs adopted from rescue pets serving vets in Luzerne County.
