COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Tough loss. The South Carolina Gamecocks couldn’t capitalize on multiple turnovers, falling to LSU 20-10 in a hard-fought defensive battle.

Turnovers were the name of the game for both teams, especially in the first half.

On the first drive for South Carolina, LaNorris Sellers dropped a handoff, giving the ball the LSU in the red zone.

South Carolina’s defense held on, forcing a field goal early to bring the lead to 3-0

However, the Gamecocks missed a field goal of their own to remain scoreless.
