NORTH BRANCH – Jackson Malburg has done it again.

Macomb County’s leading rusher – also one of the state’s top rushers in any division – added to his impressive totals Friday as visiting Armada cruised to a 30-14 victory over North Branch in Blue Water Area Conference play.

Malburg, behind a study offensive line of pile movers, racked up 207 yards on 28 carries and scored four rushing touchdowns as the Tigers (5-2, 4-2) remained in third place in the eight-school BWAC.

Malburg now had compiled 1,072 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns for the Tigers, who own a 208-126 scoring edge this season.

Armada, which came into the game ranked 12th in votes in the Michigan Sportswriters Association Division 5 polls, compiled over 350 yards of offense in the win.
