Two complex issues have been crossing my desk over several months. They concern loneliness and end of life considerations.

“I am thinking about moving into a retirement community because I am lonely” and “… the clock is soon to end.”

Both of these married individuals are seniors dealing with major health challenges. One told me they have a diagnosis that would, over time, require round-the-clock caregiving. The uncertainty comes from not knowing exactly when that might occur. In a few months, a year or more?
