COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Following Florida football's latest loss on the road to a ranked team, a 34-17 drubbing to No. 5 Texas A&M that was close until the final 12 minutes, starting quarterback DJ Lagway wore a frustrated look that could double for the entire Florida Gators fanbase.

Lagway did not expect his homecoming game to go this way, not after he threw two TD passes in UF's first three possessions. After that promising start, Lagway wound up a pedestrian 21 of 37 for 245 yards with the 2 TDs, but also was sacked three times and lost two fumbles on strip sacks.

"This is gut-wrenching," Lagway said. "I can’t imagine how I feel right now, this is not how I expected this night to go, and we’ve just got to get back to work, that’s all I can say.”
