Kickoff time and TV network for LSU's game next Saturday at Vanderbilt is finally set.
The Southeastern Conference announced late Saturday night that the LSU-Vandy game will kick off at 11 a.m. in Nashville, Tennessee. The game will be shown on ABC.
It will be the Tigers' earliest kickoff so far this season. Five of LSU's first six games were night games and its game at Ole Miss kicked off at 2:30 p.m., also on ABC.
No. 20-ranked Vandy (5-1, 1-1 SEC) was idle this week after a 30-14 loss on Oct. 4 at Alabama.
Assuming the Commodores remain in the top 25, it will be the first time LSU plays a ranked Vandy team since No. 18 LSU beat No. 19 Vanderbilt 19-13 in 1947 in Tiger Stadium.
