Aiden Taylor gave the homecoming crowd at Stocker Stadium a reason to dance in the first half.

The senior running back ran for three touchdowns as the Mavs lit up the scoreboard in a 54017 victory over Adams State on Saturday night.

“It’s fun when you get to get in the end zone,” said Taylor, who ran for 127 yards.

Taylor, a senior from Modesto, California, rushed 17 times to pace the Mavericks in both rushes and rushing yards. But beyond his body of work, the tempo with which the running back took over Saturday’s game was most impressive.
