Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reportedly received an invitation from US President Donald Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to participate in the Gaza peace summit in Egypt's Sharm-el Sheikh on Monday, October 13, a Indian Express report said on Sunday.
The invitation, described as last-minute, was extended to the Prime Minister on Saturday, according to the report. The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) has not yet confirmed whether Modi will attend the summit, which aims to address the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip.
An official statement from the Egyptian Presidency outlined that the summit will take place on Monday afternoon under the joint chairmanship of Trump and Sisi, with the participation of leaders from over 20 countries.
