The Taliban on Sunday warned Islamabad against harbouring ISIS terrorists and claimed to have killed 58 Pakistani soldiers and injured 30 others along the border in Afghan counterstrikes following recent airstrikes in Kabul.
"Pakistan should expel the important ISIS members who are hiding there from its soil or hand them over to the Islamic Emirate...The ISIS group poses a threat to many countries of the world, including Afghanistan," Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid addressing a presser today.
Saying that Afghanistan has the right to defend its air and land borders, Mujahid said they had halted overnight operations along the Durand Line - the Afghanistan-Pakistan border - at the request of Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
