Gardner-Webb football looks to score its fourth win of the season when it travels to Eastern Illinois on Saturday for a Big South-OVC matchup.

Kickoff is at 3 p.m. in Charleston, Illinois.

Gardner-Webb (3-2, 1-0 Big South-OVC) has ping-ponged between the win and loss column this fall, undefeated against FCS opponents Western Carolina, The Citadel and Charleston Southern. The Runnin’ Bulldogs losses this season have come to Georgia Tech and Ohio, both of which are FBS opponents.

Eastern Illinois is also 3-2 (2-0). Last week, the Panthers forced three turnovers and limited Tennessee State to 30 rushing yards in a 31-7 win.

Saturday’s meeting is the second between the teams, with Gardner-Webb taking a 31-28 win in their Nov. 9, 2024, matchup.
