It's been nearly three decades since Dick Advocaat rocked up at Rangers to win back-to-back league titles and three cups in a glorious spell at Ibrox between 1998 and 2001. ‌

But now the 78 year-old is on the brink of his biggest achievement to date, with the Dutchman's Curacao team closing in on a place at the World Cup next year for the first time in their history. ‌

Advocaat , who's illustrious coaching CV includes the likes of PSV Eindhoven , Feyenoord and Fenerbahce – took over the Dutch Caribbean nation last year and had led the side to top spot in their qualification section. ‌

Curacao defeated Steve McLaren's Jamaica 2-0 on Sunday to leapfrog the The Reggae Boyz into first place with three games still to play, with the winner of each group qualifying
