The hostages, kidnapped by Hamas terrorists and held in captivity in the bowels of Gaza for more than two years, are coming home to Israel.

By the time this column is published, the hostages could already be free. Or perhaps they will wait until President Donald Trump — the man who in largest part made this deal happen — gets there to see it in person.

What has been known since Oct. 7, 2023, is about to be true: There would be no war in Gaza if there were no hostages being held there and no Hamas capable of doing it again.
