A teenage boy has been rushed to hospital after a reported stabbing at a Sydney train station on Sunday.

According to NSW Police, officers were called to Hornsby railway station about 4.30pm, locating the boy with a “wound to his chest”.

“He was treated at the scene by NSW Paramedics before being taken to hospital for further treatment,” a police spokesman said.

“A crime scene has been established as police commenced an investigation into the incident.”

Investigators have called for anything with information to contact Crime Stoppers.

The suburb of Hornsby sits in Sydney’s Upper North Shore, about 23km northwest of the CBD.
