Taliban Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi is on a 6-day visit to India. He held a press conference at the Afghan Embassy in Delhi today.

Afghanistan’s Taliban government Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi addressed a press conference in Delhi on Sunday, where female journalists were also in attendance.

This came after criticism over their exclusion from a previous briefing held on Friday. Muttaqi clarified that the earlier omission of women reporters was due to technical reasons.

He said a limited list of journalists was prepared last time because of time constraints, adding that there was no other intention behind it.
