PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a deadly shooting inside a Center City IHOP.

They say a female security guard shot a customer in the head during a dispute.

The shooting happened in the lobby of the IHOP at Walnut and Juniper streets around 11:15 p.m. Saturday.

The customer was pronounced dead a short time later at the hospital.

Police aren't saying what caused the guard to pull the gun.

They do say it appears the customer was not armed.
