New Delhi: The Supreme Court is slated to pronounce its order on Monday on pleas challenging the Madras High Court’s directive for a Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe into the Karur stampede — a tragic incident that claimed 41 lives and left over 100 injured.
As per the causelist published on the website of the apex court, a Bench of Justices J K Maheshwari and N V Anjaria will pronounce its decision on October 13 on a batch of petitions seeking an independent probe into the matter.
