A West Lothian couple who met in their 20s at the dancing have celebrated their diamond anniversary after 60 years together. ‌

Congratulations to Thomas and Doria Weir (nee Mori) who recently celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary. ‌

Doria came to Scotland from Barga in Tuscany, Italy in 1956 at the age of 20 to work in Serafini’s café/chip shop in George Street. ‌

Thomas moved from Fauldhouse to Bathgate where they lived in Academy Street after they married. They were married in St Mary’s in Bathgate and still stay in the town. Thomas was a long-standing member of the West Calder Br
