CINCINNATI (WXIX) -One person is dead after a shooting occurred in Mt. Airy early Sunday morning, according to Cincinnati police.

Police say they were called to the 5000 block of Hawaiian Terrace around 4 a.m. for the report of a person shot.

Once they arrived, they found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

That person was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The victim has not been identified at this time.

Officers have not stated if they have a suspect.
